Mix crochet design pattern

 

Hi, everyone today I am going to share my new crochet design with all of you and tutorial of it. 

In this project I used 4 designs that is

• Single crochet 
• Half double crochet
• Double crochet
• Basket crochet

• Let's start making this design :
• First step you all know that is make a knot. It is a basic step to start any design. And then insert a hook into it.
•  Next step is, make 175 single chain. You can increase or decrease number of chain according to your crochet project.

• In 3rd step you have to make single crochet (Insert a hook in next chain and then yarn over and pull through it. You will notice there is 2 loops on hook then again yarn over and pull through it from remaining loops. Now only one loop remains on hook. First single crochet design is made).
• After completing first row make a single chain and then flip the design to start a 2nd row.

• Starting a new row you have to make a chain and then skip a chain. In 2nd chain make half double crochet design (yarn over on hook then insert a hook into chain. Again yarn over and pull through it. You will notice there is 3 loops then again yarn over and pull through it from remaining loops. Then there is only one loop remain on hook. First half double crochet is made). Complete the 2nd row with half double crochet.
• After completing 2nd row make single chain and then again flip the design.
• To start a 3rd row make 2 single chains and then skip 1 chain. Insert a hook in 2nd chain and make double crochet (yarn over on hook and then insert hook into chain. And again yarn over and pull through it. You will notice there is 3 loops remain on hook. Then again yarn over on hook and pull through it from 2 loops. Then again yarn over on hook and pull through it from remaining two loops. In this way your first double crochet is made.) Then make a single chain and skip one chain. Insert a hook into 4th chain and make double crochet. Then again skip one chain and also make a single chain and insert a hook into 6th chain and make double crochet.
• After completing 3rd row make a single chain and then flip the design to start a next row.

• To start a next row that is 4th row make a single chain and then skip a chain. In next chain make half double crochet. Complete the row with half double crochet. 
• After completing the 4th row make a single chain and then flip a design.
• Now make one chain to start a 5th row, skip next chain and insert a hook in 2nd chain and make double crochet. Complete the 5th row with double crochet.
  
• After completing the 5th row make a single chain to complete a row. 

 

How to make Crochet flower ?

 Today I am going to tell you how to make crochet flower?

To make crochet flower items needed are:

• crochet hook 3mm
• woolen yarn of any colour. I had taken purple colour of yarn you can choose your yarn colour according to your likings.

Stitches required to make flower design:

• Skip stitch: Insert a hook in previous chain or first chain of a design as per requirement of slip stitch in which place you make and then yarn over pull through it. You will see only one loop remain in a hook.
• Single crochet chain: Insert a hook in a chain and then yarn over on hook you will notice there are 2 loops on  hook then pull through it from chain or slip knot.
• Double crochet: Yarn over on hook then insert a hook into chain then again yarn over on hook and pull through it  now you will notice 3 loops on hook. now again yarn over on hook and this time there are 4 loops on hook. Now pull the yarn through 2 loops then again yarn over and pull through it from all loops only one loop remain on hook.

                                

Step by step process to make a flower:

First of all make a center of a flower:

• First make a slip knot.
• Make 5 single chain.
• Then make a circle with the help of last chain and first chain by using slip stitch.
• After making slip stitch make a first single chain.
• Start making a first row by using center of a circle make 15 double crochet and at the end of it make slip stitch to complete a circle.

Now you will notice the center of the flower is made.

 Now its time to make flower petals. Let's start making flower petals step by step:

•  Start 2nd row by making first single chain.
• In next chain make 2 double crochet and repeat this process in each chain to complete the row.The total number of double crochet in 2 row is 30. And at the end to complete the row make a slip stitch with the help of first double crochet stitch.
• To start a next row make a single chain first .
• In 3rd row's first chain, make double crochet with the help of previous row double crochet and not using chain to make a double crochet. 
• Skip next chain it means in 3rd chain make 4 double crochet.
• Then again skip next chain or you can say in 5th chain make double crochet with the help of previous row double crochet. Always remember never make a double crochet in single chain always use previous row double crochet. 
• You will see first petal is completed or done.
• To start a next petal  make double crochet in 5th chain with the help of same double crochet made in previous step.
• Then skip one chain and in 7th chain make 4 double crochet.
• Then again skip a next chain and in 9th chain make double crochet with the help of previous row double crochet.
• You will notice 2nd petal is made.
• Repeat above steps to make further petals to complete the flower or you can say complete the row. At the end make a slip stitch with the help of first double crochet stitch.

Crochet Cap with Mix Design

Hi, Today I am going to tell you How to make Crochet Cap with 2 different designs?

First of all make 5 chains and then make a slip a slip stitch with the help of first chain to form a circle.

To start a new row make a chain and then make 15 double crochet by using centre of the circle. And at the end make a slip stitch to complete a circle.

To start a 3^rd row you have to make a chain and then 2 double crochet in each chain. So, that at the end of the circle you get 30 double crochet.

In 4^th row you are going to increase the size of the cap. For that you have to make one double crochet and in next chain make 2 double crochet. Repeat this process to complete the circle. At the end total double crochet is 45.

5^th row is same as 4^th row just a slight difference is in place of 1 double crochet  make 2 double crochet in 1^st and 2^nd chain and in 3^rd chain make 2 double crochet. The total double crochet in first 3 chains is 4. Repeat this step to complete the circle. Total double crochet is 60.

In 6^th row make 3 double crochet in first 3 chains and in 4^th chain make 2 double crochet. Total double crochet is 75.

 7^th row starts with making 3 chains and after skipping 2 chains. Insert hook in 3^rd chain after wrapping a yarn on hook. Through the chain pull the yarn and again wrap the yarn on hook before inserting a hook on same chain. Repeat this process, total 5 times at the end pull through all yarn in one go. So, that only one loop remains on hook. After making one petal makes 1 chain and again repeats those steps to make another petal like design. Make one more petal to complete the design. Repeat this process to complete the circle.

In 8^th and 9^th row only makes single crochet stitch to complete the row.

 In 10^th row first of all make a chain and then in each chain makes single double crochet.

In 11^th row make 3 chains and then skip 2 chains. In 3^rd chain make double crochet by wrapping the yarn on hook for 2 times. Then repeat these steps before inserting the hook in 2^nd chain or you can say previous chain.  Then again repeat all these steps to complete the circle by inserting hook in 5^th chain and then 4^th chain. Similarly, repeating these steps before inserting hook in 7^th chain and then 6^th chain.

In 12^th row make double crochet in each chain to complete the circle.

In 13^th row you are going to start the basket designs. In this design, making 3 front double crochet and 3 back double crochet. Repeat these steps alternatively like design starts with front double crochet then back double crochet then again front double crochet. Follow those steps to complete the row.

In 14^th, 15^th and 16^th row repeat those 13^th row steps to complete the rows.

In 17^th row follow 13^th row steps but there is a slight difference is that the design starts with back double crochet. Repeat those steps to complete the 18^th and 19^th row. At the end you will see basket design or forward or backward boxes.

How to make crochet cap with new design?

Today I am going to tell you the steps to make a crochet cap in different design.

Let’s start by making 5 chains and then joining the last chain with first one by slip stitch.

After making a circle, start the first row with one chain and then make 15 half double crochet and then make slip stitch to complete the first row.

To start a 2^nd row you have to make 2 chains and then in next each chain makes 2 double crochet. You have to repeat that step in 15 chains. And at the end make a slip stitch to complete the row. The total number of double crochet is 30.

The next step is to increase the size of the circle. So, to do that you have to make 2 chains in starting of 3^rd row and then in next chain make 1 double crochet and in next chain make 2 double crochet. The total number of double crochet in first two chains is 3. In 3^rd chain you have to repeat the same step means in 3^rd chain insert a hook and make 1 double crochet and in 4^th chain you have to make 2 double crochet. You have to repeat that 2 steps until you reach the last chain of that row. And at the end make a slip stitch to complete the 3^rd row. The total number of double crochet is 45.

Start 4^th row with 2 chains and to increase the size of the cap you have to make 2 double crochet in 1^st 2 chains and then in 3^rd chain you have to make 2 double crochet. The total number of double crochet in first 3 chains is 4. Repeat that 3 steps to complete the 4^th row and at the end make slip stitch. The total number of double crochet is 60.

Let’s start 5th row by making 2 chains. This is the last row to increase the size of the cap. In this row you have to make 3 double crochet in next 3 chains and in 4^th chain make 2 double crochet. The total number of double crochet in first 4 chains is 5. Repeat that 4 steps to complete the 5^th row and at the end make slip stitch. The total number of double crochet is 75.

Now you don’t have to increase the size of the cap. In 6^th row make a design which highlights the vertical lines. To start a row make 2 chains and then in next 2 chains make 2 double crochet and in 3^rd chain make front double crochet. Front double crochet is normal double crochet but using a normal chain you have to use previous row double crochet by inserting a hook from front. The front double crochet helps to highlight the vertical line. Repeat that 3 steps to complete the row. And at the end make slip stitch. The total number of double crochet is same as previous row double crochet.

Repeat the 6^th row steps to complete the 7^th row. You have to repeat that step to complete the next 19 rows.

How to make Waffle Design?

Hi friends, today I am going to tell you about waffle design. It is very simple and easy design. This design includes single crochet stitch and double crochet stitch.

Before starting a waffle design first you have to know how to make single crochet design?

To make a single crochet design you have to insert a hook into a chain then yarn over on hook and pull through it. You will notice that 2 loops remain on you hook. Then yarn over on hook and pull through it from all loops. There is only one loop remain on your hook. Now your first single crochet stitch is made.

The next step is to learn how to make double crochet?

To make a double crochet design first of all yarn over on hook and then insert a hook into a chain in which you want to make double crochet and then yarn over on hook and pull through it. At this time you will notice there are 3 loops on you hook than again yarn over on hook and pull through it from 2 loops on your hook And at this time you will notice 2 loops remain o your hook then again yarn over and pull through it from all loops remain on your hook. At the end there is only one loop remain on your hook. In this way your first double crochet is ready.

Let's start making waffle design:

First of all make a knot and then make 42 chains (or number of chains you want as per your crochet project size). 

To start a 1st row make a single crochet in each chain and at the end make one single chain to start a next row.

To start a next row you have to make a single chain. The total number of chain in next row is 2 then in next chain start making a double crochet in each chain. And at the end of the 2nd row make a single chain to start a next row.

To start a next row or 3rd row you have to make 2 double crochet in next 2 chains and in 3rd chain you have to make front double crochet with below double crochet (means insert a hook from front in 3rd double crochet of 2nd row to make double crochet). And then make 2 double crochet in next 2 chains. Then again make front double crochet with 2nd row double crochet.

Repeat this process until the 3rd row is not completed. And at the end of the row make a single chain.

To start a next row or 4th row you have to make back double crochet (means insert a hook from back in each double crochet of 2nd row to make double crochet) until the end of the 3rd row.

You will notice that your first waffle design is made.

Repeat the 3^rd and 4^th row step to make the number of waffle design you want in your crochet design.

Crochet Star stitch Cap design part 2

In previous post half cap design I had discussed with you and today I will discuss with you the rest of the cap design.

1.       After completing 16 rows let’s start with 17 row by making single crochet stitch in each chain of previous row design. At the end make a slip stitch to complete the 17^th row.

2.       In 18^th row make a single chain and then repeat the 17^th step to complete the 18^th step or row. At the end make a slip stitch to complete the 18^th row.

3.       To start a 19^th row make a chain and then make double crochet stitch in each chain of previous row design. And don’t forget to make a slip stitch to complete the 19^th row.

4.       Now start making 20^th row with 3 single chain and then repeat the process of making star crochet stitch to complete the row.

5.       In 21^st row or step you have to make 2 double crochet in each eye of half star stitch to complete the 1^st star in 21^st row.

6.       Make 2 double crochet in each half star stitch to complete the star. Repeat this process to complete this row and at the end make slip stitch to complete a circle.

7.       In 22^nd row make a chain and then make a double crochet in each chain to complete the row and at the end make a slip stitch to complete the row.

Now start making a brim of cap:

1.       First of all divide the number of chains in two parts. The total number of chains is 105 . The half of front cap design skip 3 chains by making slip stitch and then start making half double crochet which act as a brim of cap. Continue making half double crochet until only 3 chains left in half cap chains. At the end make a slip stitch.

2.       To stats a next row you have to turn the cap and make a chain. Next skip 2 chains and then start making half double crochet.  You have to remember that you also have to skip 2 chains at the end of the row. Make a slip stitch before 2 chains to complete the row.

3.       To start a next row you have to make a chain and again skip 2 chains and in 3^rd chain make half double crochet. Make half double crochet in each chain of 3^rd row and make a slip stitch prior the 2 chains remain at the end of 3^rd row.

4.       Repeat the same steps of 3^rd row to complete the 4^th row. And the end makes a slip stitch to complete the 4^th row design.

5.       You can repeat the above process to increase the number of rows in brim if you want to increase the length of a brim. I only increase the brim size of a cap to 4^th row.

The length of crochet cap is 8 inches and the width of a cap is 10 inches.

The brim length is 1.3 inches and width is 9.4 inches.

Star Stitch Cap Part 1

Hi, everyone today I will tell you “how to make crochet cap with simple crochet stitches?”

Let’s start,

1.       Make a circle:  First of all make five chains and then with the help of first chain make a slip stitch. A circle is formed.

2.       Double Crochet Stitch: The first step is completed now in second step you have to make 15 double crochet with the help of hole which act as centre. First you have to make a single chain and then start making 12 double crochet stitches and at the end make a slip stitch to complete the circle.

3.       In next step first of all male a single chain and then you have to increase the size of the cap by making 2 double crochet designs in each chain of first design. The total of double crochet in this step is 30. And after making 30 double crochet stitches make a slip stitch to complete the circle.

4.       In this step make a first chain and then you still have to increase the cap size by making one double crochet in first chain of 3^rd row design and then in next chain make 2 double crochet. Repeat this step to complete the circle and in last make a slip stitch. You will notice that in this step you had made 45 double crochet stitches.

5.       In this step make a first chain and then repeat the 4^th step to complete the circle but there is slight difference in 5^th step that is you have to make 2 single double crochet in next 2 chains and then make 2 double crochet in next chain. It means after making a single chain you have to make 4 double crochet in next 3 chains. And then repeat this process (make double crochet in 4^th chain and again make double crochet in 5^th  chain and in 6^th chain make 2 double crochet) and in the end make slip stitch with the help of 1^st double crochet of 5^th step. The total number of double crochet is 60.

6.       In this step again start with making a first chain and then start increasing the size of cap by making 3 single double crochet in each 3 chains and in 4^th chain make 2 double crochet. Repeat this process to complete a circle at the end you will notice you have made 75 double crochet. Don’t forget to make a slip stitch at the end of a design to complete the circle.

7.       Star stitch: Make 3 chains and then make star stitch design in previous post I told you “how to make a star stitch design?” Repeat that step here to complete a circle and at the end make a slip stitch.

8.       In this step make 2 half crochet in each eye of design to complete the star design. The total number of star design is 38.

Note: If you think the cap size is small or tight then increases the size in 8^th step by making 3 half double crochet instead of 2.

9.       Repeat 7 and 8 step to make 9 and 10 row of circle.

10.   Repeat 9 and 10 row star stitches to complete 16 rows. But if you increases the size of cap, then in 12^th step and in further step also you have to make a star design without increasing the size of cap. It means you are making only 2 half double crochet instead of 3.
